Great

I order a pair of triskate frames. I'm from Spain and I couldn't find them anywhere else. It just took a week until I could enjoy them. The shipment just costed 9€ covering the distance from Germany to Spain, what sounds really fair to me.

I ordered a pair of skates from the website and they immediately charged my bank card the full amount plus shipping. Then the next day they send an email which I will quote below. "Thanks for your order on grindhouse.eu When we were about to proceed with your order, we noticed this is your first order with us. According to our TOB we would like to receive some kind of payment verification in this case. This verification is necessary to be sure you're the real owner of the card you ordered with. In the past we have lost a lot of money by fake orders that were placed with stolen credit card informations. With receiving your verification we know your order is not a fraud and so we will immediately proceed with your order. One way for verification could be to email us some visual identification and proof that you are the rightful owner of the credit card you ordered with. For example a screenshot of your payment confirmation email or sms. Or a photo of your credit card. For your privat security you can make the first 8 digits of the credit card number unrecognizable - then there is absolutely no risk of data loss." So, they charged my card and then said they could not proceed with the order unless I provide a picture of my bank card... I would not recommend using this company to order from.

As we already told you by email, we will explain here why we have not accepted the payment for your order, so that other customers can retrace our decision. In the past we have lost a lot of money to chargebacks due to fake orders which were placed with stolen credit card information. Your order contained several inconsistencies that were also found on fake orders, and so we decided to request further information about your payment. Btw, our bank recommended us to ask for this kind of verification to protect us from fraud orders in case the payment is not made with official "3D secure" 2-step verification. Also, your card has automatically been charged after the order process - this is nothing we have influence on. We offered you multiple ways to verify your payment or change the payment option to proceed with your order. Since you have decided to cancel your order, we have immediately refunded the money to the card you placed the order with. Again, we apologize for the inconveniences and hope you have a good day! I was so happy when i found a pair of…

I was so happy when i found a pair of Fr1 80 Deluxe inlines. I'd been looking for ages. The price looked really good only a little extra for shipping and COD charge. What wasn't made CLEAR was that there was an extra 80.00 Pounds to pay in taxes. I paid the money just because i really wanted the skates but 80.00 is a lot of money and now i've discovered the skates are a little too big....... with such high taxes how will i be able to change size??

Hi Jay, thanks for your feedback about your order. We're sorry you find yourself in this dissapointing situation. Since you're from the UK (which is not part of the EU anymore) you only pay net prices (no VAT included) on our website. Instead you will have to pay UK VAT upon arrival of the package. We clearly inform about the procedure in our FAQ on the website. Of course you also could have just refused the delivery, if you don't agree on the taxes YOUR COUNTRY charges. Also if the skates do not fit, you can return them for exchange or refund. You find all information about the return procedure on our website as well. Maybe it's a more decent way to contact us directly before leaving this negative review here or at least inform yourself about the import restrictions of your country. Ordered but still no delivery. Also bad, to no contact possibilities

I orded a pair of expensive inline skates at grindhouse.eu It is already around 7 days ago and still the inline skates are not sended. I tried to contact the webshop by phone but because of covid they don't answer you're calls.. I don't get it but oke... So I sended them 3 emails already and still didn't answer me were my shipment is. I do have a DHL tracking but DHL tells me they don't have a package from grindhouse.eu In my opinion, this is not the way to handle you're business. Covid is a hard time for everyone but if you have a webshop running you should do everything you can to help out you're customers and grindhouse.eu doesn't do this. They let you pay with you're order and then you can pray wen you get you're order. It's not that I'm on the other side off the world to. Grindhouse.eu sits in Germany and I live in the Netherlands. So for now I realy advise you to order somewhere else. And I keep praying that one day I'll get my order.. Kinds regards Joost

Hello Joost, you have placed your order on March 31st and your order has been shipped on April 1st - that's one day later! As you have chosen pre-payment by bank transfer we had to wait for you money to arrive on our bank account. Otherwise the order would have been shipped the same day! On our website we clearly inform about possible delays in postal service delivery times (because of the pandemic situation and easter public holidays) and advise to choose UPS for punctual delivery. You have not chosen UPS anyways... All your emails have been replied from our side within 2 business days. Usually we respond within 24 hours, but the current demand forces us all to help in the warehouse to ship all orders asap. That's why it's difficult to answer the phone currently. We apologize for that. Sad to hear you don't have understanding for that. To reduce your dissapointment we offered a discount on the order (even though we have not done anything wrong here). So it's even more sad to read that negative review here. Anyway, we hope in the end you like the skates and we wish all the best in these difficult times. Stay safe and healthy. Your Grindhouse Team

Will not refund defective skates :/

I bought a pair of mid range skates skates through grindhouse.eu. Unfortunately the buckling system on the skates broke quite quickly, so I requested a return. The folks at grindhouse.eu kindly sent me some replacement parts which I fitted myself. Unfortunately the same issue occured. I asked to return the skates, however the staff refused and sent me more replacement parts. The same thing has happened again and now I just have a pair of defective skates that cost £300. I appreciate the staff are friendly but I can't oblige a company that won't refund defective products.

Hi Daniel, thanks for your feedback here on trustpilot as well. As explained by email several times already, unfortunately it's just not possible to return a skate because of a defective buckle system after using them for more than 6 months. We have always replaced the defective buckles, so there was no "defective product" anymore. All decisions were made in communication with the manufacturer/distributor and so it was out of our control. The final offer even was to replace the buckles another time and issue a refund for 50% of the price of the skates. Until now we have not received any feedback from you about this. Amazing Shop

First time I bought here was I think 2009, and in the last 10 years their quality is still the same. Amazing brands and price for a large amount of products for every skating type. Amazing mention to Heiko and the customer support, I ordered a Razors aggressive skate, but they were too small for my feet, after I sent back, they provided me another Razors model that fit larger without any problem, fast and easy. There are literally no cons with this shop! 10/10

Great selection of skates and accessories and reasonable prices. Got my Roces M12 skates and my wrist guards within a week and in good condition. Great shop !

Best Customer service out there!

I was looking for some new skates and bought a pair thorugh grindhouse.eu. They came defected and there were no problems with the reclamation, the member of the staff Heiko was really nice and I send them back and decided to change for a more quality skate a Seba FR1 orange. The second pair was 100€ higher in the price point as my first skates,so I was sure to get the quality I wanted, but I was wrong. The skates had a hole in the liner and bad wheels and the frame was scratched. I send them the pictures of defects and again no problem with the reclamation, Heiko was very kind and understanding and both times I got to send them back free of charge. They refunded me the money and I was very happy to find a store I could trust and buy in the future. They were very fast in replying and processing my order and my reclamation, would recommend this store to everybody!
